Lost Guides – Singapore Book Launch Party at kapok
I am so thrilled that so many of you came down to say hello and help me to celebrate the launch. This is actually the third event that I’ve done in May (I also did the Singapore Art Book Fair and the festival GITNB), and I’ve absolutely loved getting out there and meeting new people face to face.
Lost Guides – Singapore is the second book in the Lost Guides Asia travel series (the first one being Lost Guides – Bali), and I’m really happy with the developments for the second book – additional neighbourhoods, better photography (although still mine!), interviews with inspiring creatives and contributions from talented local writers and poets. The book is a mighty 212-pages so there’s a huge amount to read (and to do!) – all of it places that I love and I hope that you will too.
Here are some photos were taken of the evening, by the lovely Carolyn Strover. A big thank you to kapok for hosting the party at your amazing shop – (they sell the coolest local labels as well as more well-known international brands) and to my friend Jess who helped me to set up, and do the flower styling, and everyone that came along to show your support!
My new book Lost Guides – Singapore is available to buy here!
